The Big Blue DUO Filter Family Model is ideal for larger households (up to 5 persons) or for small commerce, motels, and/or garden/greenhouse operations ... with dwelling surface areas between 1500 and 2500 square feet.
Comes with a DUO filtering system of sediment and KDF®55 GAC (for chlorine, algae, heavy metals, trihalomethanes, pesticides, etc.). The KDF cartridge is good for approximately 30,000 gallons or 120,000 liters. Filters are good for POTABLE water only.
The sediment cartridge helps prolong the life of the KDF®55 GAC filter and should be replaced every 6 to 8 months. The KDF cartridge should be replaced every 8 to 12 months ... depending on the quality & quantity of water used.
